We are looking for an experienced, organised and motivated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout Palé Hall. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in maintaining excellent standards, enjoys supporting and developing a team, and can organise a busy housekeeping operation effectively. This is a full time permanent position, 40 hours per week, five days over seven. Your duties will include: Leading, supervising and motivating the housekeeping team Planning daily workloads, rotas and staff allocation Ensuring all rooms and communal areas are cleaned and presented to a consistently high standard Carrying out regular quality and cleanliness inspections Training, supporting and developing members of the housekeeping team Monitoring stock levels and ordering cleaning products, linen and other supplies as required Ensuring equipment is maintained and used safely Working closely with other departments to ensure an efficient and professional service Ensuring health and safety, COSHH and infection-control procedures are followed Responding promptly and professionally to any housekeeping issues Supporting recruitment, induction and performance management within the department We are looking for someone who: Has previous housekeeping experience, ideally including supervisory or management responsibility Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards Is confident leading, motivating and organising a team Has good communication and interpersonal skills Can prioritise workloads and remain organised in a busy environment Is reliable, approachable and willing to take a hands-on approach Understands the importance of health and safety and safe working practices Is committed to delivering an excellent experience for our guests Gratuities Meals on duty Onsite parking Generous employee discounts This is a full time permanent position, 40 hours per week, five days over seven Monday to Sunday.
